The ACLS EP Manual and Resource Text eBook contains all of the information students need to successfully complete the Instructor-led, classroom ACLS EP Course. It is intended for seasoned healthcare providers who are proficient in performing BLS and ACLS skills, reading and interpreting ECGs, and understanding ACLS pharmacology and who regularly lead or participate in emergency assessment and treatment of prearrest, arrest or postarrest patients. This audience includes physicians, paramedics and emergency department or critical care nurses. When used in preparation for the ACLS EP course, this text is intended for use by a single learner and provides information needed before, during and after the course. This manual also gives learners access to a website containing a link to the ACLS Provider Exam online (precourse requirement) and additional information and reference materials to help them successfully complete the ACLS EP course.
Separate supplementary tools, the ACLS Digital Reference Card Set and the ACLS EP Systematic Approach Digital Reference Card are included with the purchase of the ACLS EP Manual and Resource Text eBook. These reference cards are the equivalent to the ACLS Pocket Reference Card Set and the ACLS EP Systematic Approach Pocket Reference Card.
Note: Before purchasing an AHA eBook for a classroom-based course, students should check with their instructor or instructor's Training Center Coordinator to confirm that mobile devices will be allowed in the classroom.
This product has been updated to reflect the latest science and education from the 2020 Guidelines for CPR & ECC and replaces the previous version (15-3113).
